A Wave in Your General Direction Crazy Lawsuit Game!

Woo hoo, I spent 14 of the last 48 hours in my car. I was not meant to be the driver. Someday when I win the lottery, I am getting a driver. That's my dream. With Mega Millions now at 96 million dollars, its time to start playing.

Another trip to G'ville, looking at apartments. Looks like the move is 35 days away. Nothing spectacular but certainly affordable. Since nothing is official, I am not real excited about the move, things are known to not happen.

Moving

The terror in my heart as I hear my prospective new boss say, I'd like to complete this transition by March 1. This conversation happened about an hour ago. Move, in two weeks for a job that is not yet confirmed, for more money that is not yet confirmed, for a company that is crazy. Sadly, the person coordinating this event is on vacation.

It looks like the move is a go! New State, here I come!

Home Improvements or Why I am a Dork

So I spent last night and most of today helping a friend do some home improvements to her place. We are in the process if changing the kitchen so we went to Home Depot, my favorite store ever, and I told her what we needed to get. I didn't even need an associate to help. I have watched way too many episodes of HomeTime with Dean Johnson and Joann Liebler (Robin Hartle is too annoying) and way too many hours of HGTV. I have also installed bi-fold doors and a tile floor with this friend. I know it's back breaking work and still I say yes when friends ask for help. Why? I enjoy home improvement and I don't even own a home.

Note to self: pulling down wallpaper is a back-breaking job, next time hire someone from a nearby gas station.
