Back in the ATL

I moved back about 6 weeks ago. I miss the four minute commute to and from work that I had for the last year. That is a great benefit of living in a small city. I can't think of too many more benefits, which might contribute to the fact that I wanted to move back since January of this year. It was one of many factors, that is for sure. I am still occasionally surprised when a new building appears where there wasn't one when I left and some things that have closed. All in all, it great to be back in the land where "Every day is an opening day." Not sure who thought that was a good motto, but every time I see a banner, see a TV commercial, or hear a radio add it makes me laugh out loud.

Serial Donator

Ask and ye shall receive, that has become my new motto. When it comes to someone doing something on behalf of a charity I am more than willing to donate. However, its the doing part that really encourages me to donate. Asking for money is hard but actually signing up to participate in something and having to ask for money is really hard. So many people say they are going to do something and they are all talk and no action. Cliches exist for a reason.

Thanks to those who do more than just talk!
